What is a Quality blog comment ?

Task Description:

Room 4 learned how to write a high-quality blog post today. Many of us remember what a good blog post was like when we were younger. By the end of the session, we had a competition to see who could leave the most blog comments. Kiariah came out on top with ten blog posts!

In this session, we had a lot of fun learning about cybersmart.

The first quality is introducing yourself to the person your commenting about.
The second quality was to be thoughtful during your comment.
The third quality was to be helpful in your comment.

Persuasive Writing: Why kids shouldn't get paid to go to school

Persuasive Writing - Why kids shouldn't get paid to go school:

This is an option with which I completely disagree.I disagree with this option because I believe that if you were given the choice between getting paid to go to school or coming to school to study, you would select the money. But this is not a wise decision, we didn't go to school to get paid, we went to learn and receive an excellent education. You could acquire a job or go to university if you get a decent education to learn about the advantages of your future employment many people may disagree with my viewpoint, but I believe we are too young to get paid at this age; if money is more important to you than your education, you will most likely fail in high school and will not be admitted to university.

Kids our age may be immature when it comes to spending the money we have. What I mean by "immature" is that they won't buy anything related to school or school supplies. Kids will be more concerned with money than with school, which will hinder their education.

Task Description:

Persuasive Writing has been the focus of Team 5's literacy work. There are agrees and disagrees in persuasive writing, just as there are in an argument. My topic was 'Why should students be paid to attend to school?' I strongly disagreed with this viewpoint.

Falefitu Tony Laulu - Special Suprise Visit to Room 3 Literacy!

We had a very Special Guest visit Room 3 Literacy, His name is Falefitu Tony Laulu. Falefitu Tony Laulu, an author who creates accessible and more true books about our islander culture.  He was on his way to bring some books that our teacher had requested. He showed us his incredible literature on Pasifika culture, particularly Samoan culture. It depicts the current state of the world. His outstanding works were spoken and written in both the English and Samoan language and culture. My favourite book coming from collection is the book that I enjoy the best. Tony Laulu has two sons, one of their names is Lemalie and he is 7 years old. The other is 10 years old and his name is Sakalia.

We would like to give a huge thank you to Falefitu Tony Laulu for coming to our school, Point England School and showing us your amazing cultural Samoan book that our teacher requested. When you came with these amazing books I just wanted to keep them that's how amazed and excited I was. I also learnt that if you can't speak any language but your that culture, It doesn't mean that your not that.

Do you want to see his books?: Go to this link right here: Falefitu Tony Laulu's Books!
